History Of The Invention Of Electric Motors

Electric motors were made in England, not long after Faraday found a generator. Joseph Henry was the first to use electric motors in practice. In 1835, Henry the American made a small railroad behind his house. The train is in motion with an electric motor. This electric motor is given a continuous strum by a battery.

In 1873 a worker in Vienna first discovered that the electric motor sends its own current. He wondered why an electric motor could turn a spin. Now the houses found people electric motors. Like the fan, sewing machine, and others. Electric motors today are able to do work that was done in the past by thousands of horses.

The strength of the horse in the past has been regarded as something amazing. Until now horsepower remains a term in the world of electricity. With these motors are driven train and large ships that sail the ocean.
